Hero doesnt support MPEG4 FORMATS.. At least according to there website… How do you move music and photo’s to the hero anyway ? I have the sync software and driver, and when i plug my phone up i see the sd card and all the folders, however if i move my MP4 music from itunes to the music folder all i see when i look on the phone are the same 5 crappy songs that came with the phone..

The big diff is the Iphone suppors pretty much every format like MP4 ect.. The Hero which i have begun to notice after getting mine yesturday is its limited to lower quality MP3 music which sucks.. All the music i bought on itunes i cant move to my Hero.. I need to convert them to mp3…

I got the hero because its cheaper then the iphone and has better coverage.. the Iphone is better when it comes to music. the iphone is faster.. My hero is sluggish.

Pretty sure, the best thing about the 4g has to be the flash and the new case upgrades.
Alot of people Browsing this comment will not be able to purchase new iPhone, it’s just going to be quite expensive
Luckily I learned on Apples twitter Thursday they are giving away a few thousand iPhone 4gs. Also, heres the link to Apples iPhone 4g giveaway webpage … just copy and paste

@xXKimiriXx your right. however BOTH have media players. How can one be “better”? it could be faster. you compare a feature if it has big difference. there is no difference an average buyer could find on those phones.

@Garcea89 No, but you are… still definitely the Hero

@benteta Would you rather buy a seperate mp3 player or have your music, games, phone, email, weather, camera, etc. all in one?

    Exactly.

@benteta Just because almost every phone can play music, doesn’t mean that they can do it well. When you are comparing/reviewing two electronic devices like this you need to cover everything that you think may be important to the viewer. Music playing on a cell phone is one of the most important features to some people, so he has to cover that in order to have a good video.

  • benteta says:

@ArmoredKingyo I know, but you dont buy a phone just to listen to music. Almost every phone can do that!! Just get an iPod for music

    [Reply]

  • ArmoredKingyo says:

@benteta yes. Some people do buy a phone to perform more functions then just call or text someone. Like listening to music.

This guy obviously knows nothing about iPhone typing. You don’t have to add it into your contacts. You type it how you want it once and disregard the autocorrect by clicking on it. If you type it how you like it twice it will automatically remember. Practice what you preach man.

@pojo205 The choppiness is now greatly reduced thanks to HTC’s update which occured since this video was made, also coluld well be contributed to the Hero’s capability to multitask unlike the iphone which of course is puts more load on the processor.

  • benteta says:

do you buy phones to listen to music?? wtf? why compare that?

    [Reply]

  • pojo205 says:

HTC seems to be a bit more choppy and lagging than the iPhone when viewing emails. Now i’m guessing this is the same with web browsing, and that would be a big turn down for me. 2.8 megapixels more in the camera? I have a 2.0 megapixel camera and I find those pictures to be of somewhat decent quality when uploading to facebook.
iPhone has a lot cleaner look, plus the aps.
I do expect HTC to make some major upgrades to their Hero but right now i’d still prefer the iPhone.
